Oluja koja je započela snegom, jakim vetrom i niskim temperaturama na istoku Dakota i zapadu Minesote krenula je na istok, znatno otežavajući putovanja u tom delu SAD.

Upozorenja za mećave objavljena su u regionu dok službenici Nacionalne meteorološke službe predviđaju temperature od čak 37 stepeni Celzijusa ispod nule, pod pritiskom udara od preko 155 km/h, prenosi AP.

Nekoliko autoputeva je zatvoreno.

"Zima je došla u to područje", rekao je Greg Gast, meteorolog vremenske službe u Grand Forksu u Severnoj Dakoti.

Najteži nalet vetra bio je 100 km /h u Fargu, rekao je Gast.
