Društvene mreže su prepune snimaka i fotrografija same eksplozije u Bejrutu, ali i hrabrih ljudi. Među njima su i ljekari koji su radili u gotovo nemogućim uslovima.
Eksplozija siline udara atomske bombe napravila je krater u bejrutskoj luci prečnika 124 metra.
U katastrofalnoj eksploziji poginulo je najmanje 137 osoba prema za sada dostupnim podacima. Oko 5.000 je povređeno, a više od 300.000 osoba je izmješteno iz svojih domova.
Stotine su nestale i strahuje se od toga da će broj mrtvih nastaviti da raste.
